How to Avoid Makeup Mistakes

0
Make-up is an art but most women make big mistakes while adding makeup on their faces. They want to look beautiful, and they do unusual things in doing so. Let’s talk about some of the most common mistakes that women make when applying makeup and how to avoid them.

Mistake 1:
Using too much foundation is one of the most common mistakes women make. Putting an excessive amount of foundation on your face makes cracks appear when you laugh, talk, or frown and it looks ugly. In this way, women look unattractive and they have to bear in mind that they never become beautiful by hiding the little deformities or pimples with too much foundation.

Mistake 2:
Most of the time, girls who have little knowledge about makeup use eye shadows in bright, funky colors and apply them to the eyebrows starting from the eyelids. Without the highlighter and contour line, eye shadows look tasteless. Such eye makeup is by no means attractive. Using two or three shades, fusing them and using contour line and highlighter is much better.

Mistake 3:
Hiding pimples and dark circles makes the biggest mistake. Pimples become even more prominent by hiding them with a lighter shade of concealer. Try a concealer shade similar to that of your skin to hide pimples and dark spots and to smoothen your skin.

Mistake 4:
Another mistake is to use such a foundation color that does not match your skin’s color. You’re going to look like a mime or a clown if you’ve got a dark complexion and start using light and whitish foundations. Apply a foundation that is as close as possible to the color of your face or try one that blends with your skin color.

Mistake 5:
Choosing the best lipstick color is also one of the biggest mistakes. Consider the type of event you will be attending. Outdoor parties have different makeup requirements than those performed in dim lights. For every occasion, the same shade of lipstick will never work. Too dark lipstick colors are not suitable for day parties because they ruin your natural appearance. For all types of events, avoid using just one color or shade for your lips.
